| Unincorporated Pierce County | Unincorporated Pierce County | 6/2023 - Open until Filled | Knowledge of Violence Prevention Programs | This Committee is seeking new members to serve on the Allocation Advisory Committee for Prevention Programs, an advisory body to Pierce County government on the use of tax dollars set aside for youth violence prevention programs. The committee is seeking volunteers who live in unincorporated areas to help select and make funding recommendations to the Pierce County Executive and Pierce County Council on youth-violence prevention programs that benefit youth who reside in unincorporated Pierce County. The majority of the Committee work takes place in the months of October, February, April, May and June. Members may serve no more than two consecutive four-year terms.
