What are program credits ?
Program credits are earned through Fall Product & Cookie sales. They are a form of incentive once a girl reaches a certain sale of Fall Product & Cookie sales.

Can I use program credit to pay deposit for camp or anything else requiring deposits ?
Yes The account must be established so that the funds may be placed in that account. Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and / or prior to using the program credits. At that time you may contact Customer Care at 602-452-7030 so that they can receive your payment. Spots will not be secure until full payment is made.

Who can use the program credits will it only benefit the girl scout who earned them?
The girl scout that has received the program credits can choose to have a certain amount transferred to a sibling for a certain event, trip, or program. They can also be used for a guardian that will be chaperoning the Girl Scout for an event, a trip, or program.Please note that the sibling must be a registered member.
4High Awards
Can I use them to redeem my expenses for High Award?
Yes. Expenses can be redeemed for the Higher Awards. The refund must be for supplies used in your project and must align with the guidelines for high awards

Can I use my program credits to redeem for encampments?
Yes.Program credits can be redeemed for encampments, however we ask that the guardian contact the Service Unit to inform them that the time frame for processing these program credits will be a minimum of 14 business days.Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and or prior to using the program credits. At that time you may contact Customer Care at 602-452-7030 so that they can receive your payment. Spots will not be secure until full payment is made.

Why am I allowed to use my program credits for certain program partners & some I am not able to aren't all council approved events?
Program credits can only be used for registrations Council hold. We are unable to process registration for Program Partners because we do not have access to their accounting system to credit accounts. The only exception is United Getaways that work in conjunction with Council to redeem the program credits. You may get reimbursed for Council sponsored Program Partner events. You will still need to provide receipts and complete the Gift Card Redemption Form. Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and/or prior to using the Program Credits. Please contact Customer Care at 602-452-7030 so that they can receive your payment. Spots will not be secure until full payment is made.

If I receive a gift card/certificate for volunteer appreciation can I give it to my girls to redeem?
No, volunteer appreciations are strictly for volunteers and may not be transferred to girls.Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and or prior to using the program credits. Can I give program credits to another girl?
Yes, you can transfer program credits to another Girl Scout even if that Girl Scout is not a sibling( all must be registered a Girl Scout) simply attach a handwritten not giving that girl scout that earned the program credits to the other girl scout that will be receiving it.Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and or prior to using the program credits. At that time you may contact Customer Care at 602-452-7030 so that they can receive your payment. Spots will not be secure until full payment is made.

Can I use program credits for troop dues ?
No.Program credits can't be used for troop dues.

How can I redeem my program credits for an EF tour or any other travel ?
You can redeem program credits for an EF tour or any council sponsored travel but all deposits must be paid, that means that an account must be established. Checks will not be mailed to a girl scout , guardian , or troop directly. All checks or payments will be made directly to the vendor or organization associated with the trip.Also any & or all receipts, troop trip applications, forms must be included with the redemption form. If any forms are missing this will result in a delay in payment.

What constitutes travel expenses?
Travel expenses can include airfare, gas, & food for the trip. Also any and/or all receipts, troop trip applications, forms must be included with the Program Gift Card Redemption Form. If any forms are missing this will result in a delay in payment.

How do I redeem program credits?

If troops are redeeming program credits & requesting reimbursements how will the troop get the money into their account ? What is the timeline on this?
Troops requesting reimbursement will need to fill out the link, provide all forms required, include all receipts, the funds will then be ACH to the troop account, this process will take up to 14 business days to process.

What if my daughter earned program credit but never received the program card?
Email rehelp@girlscoutsaz.org. They will be able to verify any program credits your Girl Scout may have earned from product sales..

Is there any option to pay for a program using program credits at check out for registering for the event/program/training ?
No. This feature is not set up in any MyGS accounts, please refer to the Program Gift Card Redemption Form to redeem the program credits and have it applied to the event/program/training that you desire to register for. Please take note that if the card does not cover the entire amount of the event/program/training then payment will first need to be collected at the time of registration and/or prior to using the program credits. How do I check my balance on the program cards?
You can check program credits simply by submitting Program Gift Card Redemption Form on the website.https://girlscoutsaz.formstack.com/forms/gift_card_redemption Please take note that program cards expire 15 months from the date of issue.
