What are program credits?
Program Credits are earned through Fall Product Program, Girl Scout Cookie Program. They are a form of incentive once a girl reaches a certain level of sales. Program Credits can also be given to girls in a disbanding troop moving to IGM.Cookie Sellers who earn the Girl Experience Rewards are allowed to use Program Credits (just for the girl awardee) for qualifying items and additional activities. The Program Credits cannot be used to purchase additional member tickets/activities. How do I redeem program credits ? Is there an option at checkout to pay for Council Sponsored Events/ Council Sponsored Programming/ Council Sponsored Training/Membership, Troop Camp using Program Credits?
For Council Sponsored Events/ Council Sponsored Programming/ Council Sponsored Training/Membership, Summer Camp program credits payment can be selected directly at checkout in your MyGS cart. Once selected, an order is automatically created in our system. This does not guarantee a spot, nor does it apply automatic payment.
In conjunction with the order a program credit redemption form https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/4bff39a0e00146eebebe94671042b36c must be completed for the corresponding order. These requests are reviewed daily on weekdays. Once received, the redemption is processed internally, with the program credits being applied within the corresponding systems. Systems can include MYGS, Ultracamp, or Cognito.
Ensure that the balance of the program credit meets the amount of the cost of the order, if the full amount is not secured within the request, contacting Customer Care @ 602-452-7030 to fulfill the remainder of balance must be done to continue with the redeeming process.
Once all steps are successfully completed the sender will receive a notification confirming completion of that order.

Girls can now turn their council program credits into an online gift certificate. The amounts have to total an amount divisible by $10, $25, $50, or $100. Cards can be combined to get amounts; for example, a $23 and a $27 program credit card can be combined to a $50 certificate. Girls do NOT have to use the full amount on their card. Please use Gift Card Certificate Form https://www.cognitoforms.com/GirlScoutsArizonaCactusPine1/gsusagiftcardredemptionform and only type the amount you want to convert. If you have more than 3 program credit cards, please fill out the form again. Once converted, the girl’s parents will receive an email with the gift certificate. This process can take up to a week. Gift certificates cannot be converted back into program credits. Gift certificates are valid on www.girlscoutshop.com only.

How do I check my balance on my Program Credits card?

When do my program credits expire?
Program Credit cards remain valid for 15 months from the date of issue, after which any unused balance will expire.If you are using Program credits, those can be used directly at the GSACPC Council Shop. Can I use Program Credits to pay the deposit for camp or other activities requiring deposits?
Program credits will not be processed for Deposits (You must pay the deposit using a credit card). The account must be established for program credits to be applied to the account. Registration will be verified by Council Staff prior to Program Credits being applied.

If your Program Credits do not cover the full cost of the event, program, or training, the remaining balance must be paid at the time of registration or prior to applying credits. At that point, you may contact our Customer Care team at 602-452-7030 for assistance with payment.

Spots are not secured until full payment has been received.

Who can use the program credits? Will they only benefit the Girl Scout who earned them?

Program Credits may also be applied toward the cost of a guardian chaperoning that Girl Scout for council approved specific event, trip, or program that the girl is attending. Can program credits be used to offset cost for High Awards ?
Expenses can be reimbursed for High Awards. The reimbursement must be for supplies used in your project and must align with the guidelines for high awards.Expenses can be reimbursed for High Awards. Can program credits be used for encampments?
Program Credits can be used to request reimbursement for encampments. To process the request, proper documentation must be included, such as itemized receipts, flyers, or participant rosters.

For upfront registration, please provide a flyer showing the cost of the encampment. All funds will be directed to the Service Unit hosting the encampment registration.

Can program credits be used for program partners?
Program Credits can only be applied to programs where GSACPC manages the registration process.
GSACPC is not able to apply Program Credits to Program Partner registrations, as we do not have access to their systems to issue credits directly.

What constitutes travel expenses?
Travel expenses can include airfare, lodging, gas, and food for the trip. If troops redeem program credits and request reimbursements, how will the troop get the money into their account? What is the timeframe?

What if my Girl Scout earned program credits but never received the program card?
