When and Where is the Exchange?
Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange
Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Lafite Ballroom
Wynn and Encore Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV
3
Why participate in the Innovative Technology Exchange (Exchange)?
The Exchange is a key element of the overall Vizient Innovative Technology program and allows suppliers to present their latest, most impactful unique solutions in a fast-paced, hands-on event. Attendees to the Exchange, including council members, can explore products firsthand, gain insights into achieving improved clinical and operational outcomes, and ask questions. Event visibility plays a key role in guiding councils as they make contract award and designation recommendations.
4
Which suppliers qualify to participate in the 2025 Exchange?
1. Suppliers with innovative products and services with well-reasoned and differentiated clinical improvements or operational benefits over other products and services available in the marketplace.
2. Suppliers with innovative products and services seeking a new Innovative Technology contract with Vizient or exhibiting product(s) on a current Vizient contract under a different product category.
3. Incumbent suppliers with a unique product or solution claiming meaningful clinical or operational benefit added to a Vizient contract after January 1, 2023. This includes any product or solution in the process of being added to a current contract provided it will be available on Vizient contract by June 1, 2025.
5
Who will attend the Exchange?
All provider and staff attendees of the Vizient Connections Summit will be invited to come to the Exchange. In 2024 there were over 500 attendees who visited the exhibit hall. Attendees will include clinicians, sourcing executives and service-line leaders with responsibility for clinical quality and patient safety from member organizations around the country. Vizient leadership and staff will also participate, particularly those from business units responsible for supply chain contracting.
6
How do we apply?
The 2025 Exchange application is now closed. Please look for the 2026 Exchange application to open in early 2026.
7
When we apply, are we automatically accepted to showcase at the 2025 Exchange?
Not all suppliers who apply are accepted. To participate in the 2025 Exchange a product or service must meet certain criteria. Your company will be notified no later than May 30, 2025, once a decision has been made.
8
-If your product or solution is accepted
9
What is the product fee?
If supplier’s product or service is accepted for the 2025 Exchange, supplier will be asked to agree to our terms and conditions and pay $2,500 per approved product. Each approved product or service will receive its own booth space and three staff personnel registrations.
10
What is included with the product fee?
The registration secures your entrance to the 2025 Exchange for up to three (3) representatives per approved product, an individual booth space with one (1) 6-foot standard, skirted exhibit table, one (1) stool and table signage.
*Please note, registration to attend the Vizient Connections Summit must be purchased separately.
11
How many badges are provided with each accepted application?
Each supplier may register a total of three (3) representatives per approved product or solution to work at your 2025 Exchange table. Additional representatives outside of the allotment of (3) per approved product will not be allowed access to the Exchange. Exchange registration only covers access to the exhibit hall for setup and to the actual Exchange event hours. If you wish to attend the entire Vizient Connections Summit, full conference supplier registration is required and can be purchased on the Summit website coming second quarter of 2025.
12
I have more than three attendees from my company at Summit, can they also participate in the Exchange?
Only three (3) company representatives are allowed per booth space. This is to limit the amount of possible competitive suppliers who have access to the hall during the exchange.
13
Is there a host hotel for overnight accommodation?
The Vizient Connections Summit (Summit) host hotel is the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas. Booking and rate information will be sent to approved suppliers when housing opens for the Summit.

If your product or solution is selected to participate in the event, you can display the actual product, a table drape and a backdrop not to exceed the allotted booth footprint or block more than 50% line of site and are branded to the accepted product or company brand only. Giveaways and TV monitors are also allowed given they follow the above space and visual requirements. We encourage suppliers to maintain the focus on their technology being showcased.
17
How do we prepare ahead of time to take full advantage of the opportunity of showing a product or service at the 2025 Exchange?
Whether your objective at the 2025 Exchange is to gain additional visibility for a product already on contract or you are seeking a Vizient Innovative Technology contract for your product or service, your preparation is the same. Bring the right product or equipment so providers can experience using your product themselves whenever possible. This hands-on approach is one of the most often cited reason attendees enjoy this event.

Your focus at the booth should be showing clinical improvements and other advantages the featured product or service offers, above and beyond alternatives in the marketplace. Concentrating on the unique features and evidence of enhanced outcomes for the product will establish a strong basis for supplier’s claims of innovations and help council members with their contract and designation recommendations. In addition, plan to have staff at your table during the 2025 Exchange hours (September 17) who are knowledgeable about the products or services you are showing. Samples, brochures, clinical studies and white paper handouts on the approved product(s) are encouraged.
18
Can I show an additional product or service?
Based on the application you submitted, Vizient has approved only the products and services you are permitted to display at your table. Additional products cannot be added on the event day.
19
I am assigned one neighborhood per product, what does that mean?
Solutions and products are arranged in neighborhoods to align with care areas. The neighborhoods for the Exchange are determined based on the types of accepted products and solutions. Even though a product or solution could fit into may neighborhoods, each product or solution will only be assigned to one neighborhood.
20
What is the dress code for the 2025 Exchange?
Attire for the 2025 Exchange is business casual.
21
Will attendees be able to provide feedback to the councils on my product during the Exchange?
Yes! Your table sign will include a QR code where attendees can submit feedback to be shared directly to the appropriate council(s) making decisions on your product.
22
Will a list of attendees be provided before or after the Exchange?
We do not track attendees to the Exchange and will not be providing an attendee list for this event but we will send a post-event email with the approximate number of attendees to the exhibit hall.
23
-Show Services
24
Does my registration fee include electricity or internet access?
You will receive an Exhibitor Service Kit from The Expo Group prior to the event with order forms for electricity, internet access, material handling and additional furniture at your own expense. This information will be sent to all suppliers confirmed to participate.
25
How do I order show services?
Please contact: innovativetechnology@vizientinc.com if you haven't received your exhibitor services kit by 7/11/25. Service kits will not be emailed until your signed agreement and payment are received.
26
Will you be offering a lead collection device?
Based on the feedback we receive from attendees; we will not be offering a lead collection device for the 2025 Exchange.
27
-After the Exchange
28
When do I have to have all my booth items packed up?
All booth materials must be removed from the expo hall by 8:00 pm PST.
29
When will I know the results from showing my product or service at the 2025 Exchange?
Exhibitors showing products not currently on contract with Vizient and exhibitors showing products already on a Vizient contract but seeking an Innovative Technology designation will be reviewed by healthcare providers who sit on Vizient councils. Because each council has their own meeting schedule, some decisions may take longer than others. We appreciate your patience as we follow our process and gather the complete scope of member feedback required. It may be several weeks for a final answer.

The goal for exhibitors showcasing a product already on an Innovative Technology contract is exposure and there will be no further results provided from the event.
